Just curious, has anyone here if ever owned/driven/or went for a ride in a Jaguar XJ220?

That was one of my favorite dream cars back in high school and I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with one. I actually saw a burgandy colored one once back in Las Vegas in the very early 90's.

That is one of only a few cars I have not seen on the street. I have seen several at car shows and I know of one guy locally that owns one but have never seen it in action

That car is just amazing! There was one parked across from one of our hang out spots in some restaurant. It was so beatiful. I came close, touched it and it felt like sex. Im not even playing, the car is just amazing. The rims are hella gay though

Funny, exotic jags don't sell, nor do cheap X-type ones.
I liked this car as a kid but its blah now to me.

probably has a lot to do with that unpromising V6 instead of the big V12 or whatever it was suppose to be. That alone killed alot of sales including the incredibly steep pricetag for the time.

I still have my DieCast model car of this XJ220. Beautiful car, but you can see that wierd 80's style supercar look showing through now.

I've always liked those cars... even if they are totally retro. Although I'm not sure that I'd like to own one, I'd sure love to put one through the paces.
