Personally I would of gotten an SC instead, the acura just lacks alot of the cool features and overall interior layout design of the legend is kinda 'boring/plain' like a regular honda with woodtrim added. Lexus just has that extra quality and work put into the interior and the overall ride. But either way good clean ride, I owned a prelude before their reliability was super but as I said interior quality is far different! - digital climate, - power passenger seat, - telescopic wheel etc.

Heated seats
all 4 power windows (for a coupe)
Telescopic sterring wheel
memory seats
Power suctioning doors (think S500)
Real wood trim
Has your car been reliable? Acura built a few Legends such as yours with manual transmissions ( there wasn't much demand for them ) but the clutches were quite troublesome...another reason production of the manual trannies ceased in the early 1990's.
It's really nice to see a car like yours with a CLASSY dash and interior
....the way many companies did it 10-15 years ago. So many of today's interiors and dashes are just ludicrous....some of them make me almost want to throw up. The Nissan Quest, Saturn Ion, Scion xA and xB, Toyota Echo, the 2006 Honda Civic, and Subaru Tribeca, the Suzuki Aerio, some of the Chris Bangle BMW's, and the new Mustang V6 are good examples....the V6 Mustang for its horrible cheapness.

The Legend is very reliable. Just like the Lexus cars it is not uncommon to see them go to 300K miles and over if properly taken care of. Like I mentioned above, I had 3 of them. 1st sold to my friend which finially died beacuse it got flooded. 2nd was a 6-Speed manual version that I sold to my sister and it is still going strong today. 3rd was my wifes automatic that I sold to my brother and he pretty much trashed it but it is still running. My personal opnion is comparing it to the SC400 that I own, the engine in the Lexus is more robust and can handle more abuse. However, over all the Legend gave me a lot less problems. My SC had every single common problem the SC and even LS owners will go though like all the control arm bushings, steeing rack bushings, power steering pump leak, door hinges, O2 sensors, and if you want to hear all the rest just go to the SC forum. The Legends that I owned had nearly nothing unespected go wrong except maybe the cracked plastic radiator tank.
By the way, the manual trannies are typical Honda. My 6-Speed finially had the original clutch replaced at over 120K miles. The two piece flyweel was resurfaced and now it drives as good as new again thus far. Not a single problem with the clutch or tranny, nor did any manual Legend owner that I personally know have a problem either. The manual Legends went up until 1995 when the switched over to the RL name.
Yes.....I know that Legends as a whole are reliable. The only reason I brought up the clutch problems is that I had read about them.....I never owned one and, of course, have no direct experience. But you seem to have had excellent luck with them.
