My gf has a 2002 honda civic lx and i was looking for honda forums such as our CL where one can find find everything and anything about their car... A site/forum that has QUALITY aftermarket ideas would be ideal.

have you tried www.honda-tech.com

not as nice as CL, but they do have a huge archive. they have good FLAME WARS though..

 

Honda-Acura.net is pretty good. Temple of Vtec is alright.
