1999 Lexus RX300 - extended warranty?

Just picked up a used 1999 RX300 for the wife with 80k miles on it. I am thinking about an extended warranty because she will keep it for about 5 yrs.

I cannot get the Lexus extended warranty so I would appreciate some advice on who I should get it from.

It's an AWD vehicle and I checked some earlier posting on repairs. A few people mentioned that the trans go at around 140k?

Wow, I bought my mothers RX the same, AWD, I think it was about 80k miles. No issues, she is at 120k miles. Biggest thing is the brakes needed replacing. That reminds me, she needs a timing belt right about now.

How long will the warrenty last for? I didn't purchase it, only the GAP insurance.
