CRX to return? Keep your fingers crossed.
AUTOWEEK has also run an article on the new Civic suggesting that a new CRX will debut within two years....but of course is mum on the details...or whether it will even be a two-seater like the last one was.
Like the Miata, the last CRX was a little too small and cramped for my tall and portly frame, but there is no denying it really had a dedicated and loyal following. The slamming and tuning crowd, in particular, went ape-s - -t over it. I've been following the auto market for many years....and I think I heard more b - - ching and griping when the last CRX and Turbo AWD Eclipse were dropped than with any other vehicles on the market.

If its weight is over 2500 then it's not gonna be worth a damn. Honda has taken a dive over the past few years in their "sporty" cars, in my opinion their lack of marketing towards the "tuner crowd" is finally coming to bite them now that Scion has come to play.
Well, considering the Del Sol was actually the last CRX... I don't think I'll hold my breath. The Del Sol/CRX had a lot of potential, but it seems as if the designers and engineers didn't bother to work together at all on that generation. I wouldn't be surprised if the next CRX turns out to be simply a rebadged Civic hatch with a lower roofline.
