Time for another car! Hard to decide

93-95 MKIV SupraTT
97-98 MKIV SupraTT - this pushes me over the 30k barrier but I can still afford it, just less money for mods
pimp a GS400 and a bike
LS1-FD (kinda hard to manage since either I'd do the work myself or pay hinson to do it)
I dont see a Z06 as a viable option since they are pretty pricey AND because I can take a stock C5 and for a fraction of the difference make it WAY faster

I've had all the choices you listed save for the GS (got a LS instead), the LS1's and the Rio.
My 93 Supra TT was a beast 500hp BPU...fun as hell and lots of looks everywhere i went. Ran low 12's all day long at the track no issues. My 97 Supra TT that replaced it was just immaculate and i didn't want to do anything with it since it was so rare and in pristine condition. Before my LS430, i was opting to get an E46 M3 or an NSX, but the waiting lists were too long on the Bimmer and the NSX was still quite $$$. So i picked up the LS for comfort and a Honda f4i for fun. Nothing, and i mean NOTHING is comparable to the visceral feeling of a bike. If you're going for just show tho and won't take it to the track, get a car instead of a bike. 4 bikes later (f4i, 954rr, rc51, 600rr), i still prefer it to my old s2000's or supras easily.
My choice would be to get an older LS and a bike to compliment it, if you are going to the track and not afraid of pain (remember its not if you will go down, its when). If you are just going for show get a 97+ Supra. If you have $$$, get an older one and mod it out (they can get quite $$ after BPU)...

sounds like a winner to me.
(but i still have to vote for the kia option... lol

Yeah but the Legacy is uber boring... looks even more bland than an old Maxima
its cool that its fast (for its class)... but for the cars on this list (115-120mph trap territory) its pretty slow... I'm just not digging any subarus at this point I guess
and the EVO interior looks so cheap (even moreso than a Vette I guess)... I just cant see spending $23k or so on one to have it run mid 13s and no "gawk and awe" about it... other than there being 10 others in town

gawk: "gawk" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (gôk)
1. to stare or gape stupidly (noun)
2. look with amazement; look stupidly (verb)
3. the stares of amazement and subsequently the drool that will occur as a result of this:

SUPRA. i saw a supra at a volleyball match i had a week or so ago, and you know what? the owner and all of his friends were over at it at one point looking at it like every guy looks at that girl in the video driving the farrari that was posted up. it is the definition of gawk and awe. in fact, i've found a defintion for you:

Nice definition by the way
looks
power
handling
prestige
reliability
modability
fun-ness (is that a word?)
not in any particular order
I've done 48hrs+ of research on different cars and their options, pricing, install difficulties, and other things that arise with the cars...
and every time i keep coming back to the supra...
That doesnt sound like much; but I'm talking about 48hrs of sitting at a computer reading through page after page after page of forums, installation instructions, FAQs, shop reviews, dyno tuning information, etc...
sure a 600hp vette is nice, but so is a 800hp supra which isnt so expensive to make nowadays... and you dont have to rebuild the motor either; which the stock LS1 will die pretty easy after 600hp or so
