PhilipMSPT, what a great observation! And the new Imperial looks like a knock-off Rolls.
Even the badge, with the wings, is ala Bentley.

Knock-offs suck.

I bet they'll just make the performance version in an automatic. Is this a Kappa challanger?

nevermind, way over priced. They should have made it smaller, stuff a 4 cylinder (turbo?) into it and have waiting lists that last 2 years, look at GM's Solstice/Sky turbos.

While I would probably never buy one, that is a nice looking car.

I saw the Firepower concept at a local auto show. It was next to a GT40 and the FIrepower made the GT look like some sort of Fiat. It may not be your cup of tea but to my eye it is drop dead gorgeous. The pictures do not do it justice. It is much better looking than the Viper IMO. If it is really priced under the Viper more competing with the vette, I think Chryco may have a real success on their hands. Success for a low volume car but a success nonetheless. If it is priced well enough, even the mileage won't be a detraction. After my disappointment with the new XK, this might be a real possibility.
