The old so-called image of pink being only feminine and for gays is not quite correct either. Elvis Presley.....perhaps one of the most macho male singers of all time and the first truly great American Rock star.....loved pink Cadillacs. He not only owned and drove them, (especially the outlandish '59 convertible) but with his vast wealth bought them and gave them away as gifts to friends and relatives. Some 25 years later Bruce Springsteen (The Boss) wrote another song about Pink Cadillacs in the album " Born in the USA ".

Welterweight/Middleweight Boxing legend Sugar Ray Robinson was known for driving around in his flashy pink Cadillac too.(google it) But nah, I think the vast majority of guys wouldn't like that color on their cars.

I saw that same car in the parking lot at Xtreme Audio and Alarm in Anaheim, CA when I went to drop off my car for its audio setup. I asked the owner about the car and he said that it belonged to Sug Knight...one of his boys was supposed to be coming to pick it up while Sug was in jail. The audio serup was awesome...definately a work of art, although the color is blindingly rediculous.

 

My friend who works at Washington Mutual in Beverly Hills saw the car pull into their parking lot. They all had a big debate how ugly it really is

A Pink Mercedes is ugly to be sure, but there are a lot of people doing tastless mods nowadays.
