Default Mb E 240

Just drove a friend's '04 a couple of hours ago. I love the acceleration, tiptronic transmission and brakes in particular. The 2.6L V6 feels very nice and powerful. Drive was great and comfortable...only felt the steering was a bit on the sensitive side. Pretty much one of the only things I didn't like is coolant temperature being selected though the menu inside the speedometer, so to speak. Would've been better if it was a forth gauge along with the speedometer, tachometer and fuel gauge. Other than that...sweet car, even though my preferance would be a GS 300 over it.

There're lots of E240 in HK, of course big hp is not important there with most of its roads . . .

Actually acceleration was pretty decent...would make an ideal daily driver.

No doubt.... considering most E's outside of the North America are E200K's, E240 is more than adequate.
