Lexus Japan Showroom(WOW!!)
Everything new is very nice looking. Let's wait ten years to see if the lounge chairs are still so white and clean. But frankly, I think they would replace the chairs every once in a while. What caught my eyes are the new IS, they are already out in Japan? When do we get it? I have heard that Infiniti is planning to remodel all of its dealers, and yes, that is very important for the customers to have the luxurious feeling.
If i were in Japan with only one day for Lexus/Toyota, I would rather go to test drive all the models that i'm interested in Tokyo....there's a place near to the harbour that ppls can book any or all models to test drive...the last time we went, we test driven LS430 and SC430...there's no pressure to buy
besides test driving, all the brands that's under toyota are on displace that everyone can "play" with....really can spend a whole day...after playing with the cars, one can go to the new hot natural mineral spa opened recently

i don't want to jack the thread. i've never been to a lexus dealer in the states or asia, but i have been to the toyota repair department. the waiting room here in taipei, taiwan is 10x better than the ones i've been to in NJ. the waiting room actually looks like one of the pictures in the japanese dealer. there are nice leather seats, magazines, complimentary drinks, soft lighting, the reps are in the same room as you as opposed to another floor here in the states, and a nice big tv. the waiting room in the US makes me feel like i'm in a second rate daycare center. even toyota can do better here in the states.
more importantly, someone was able to start working on the car as soon as we got there, without an appointment either. after waiting almost 2 hrs for an oil change last winter at toyota here in NJ i think i've seen the last of dealer servicing.

Fantastic Lexus dealerships abound, I liked seeing the West Coast GS preview at the new Lexus of Glendale building, which the executive leadership of Toyota/Lexus toured the morning before the GS was previewed!
With a stainless steel waterfall, murals reminiscent of the 17-mile drive at Pebble Peach (incidentally sponsored by Lexus): https://www.clublexus.com/index.php/...iew/2474/1/10/
And, you can see that newly built Lexus dealerships will also be amazing!

Lujack Lexus -- The 28,853-square-foot facility — to be completed by Thanksgiving — will feature an energy-saving heating and cooling system and such touches as a marble tile on the showroom floor and a tiled floor in the service bays, architect Perry Gere, of Gere-Dismer Architects, Rock Island, said. Ryan Companies is the builder.
Other amenities will include a children’s play area, a customer lounge and a business center with high speed Internet access where customers can conduct business while waiting for their cars to be serviced. Reduced-glare lighting and two water retention ponds to control stormwater runoff also are part of the project.

I belive there is also a relaxing japanese garden for relaxation. I am sure some of my S.FL cohorts that take their car there will agree.
