WOW!!! How Time Flies... Before & After...!
for me, the trasnformation has been much much different. when i first got my sc, i didn't really know why i was getting it, other than it was a great deal, a lexus, a great looking coupe, and five speed. i had no idea of the relationship between the sc/supra, the sc's enormous potential, or the truely unique nature of the sc both in how many you see on a daily basis and body wise as well. through the help of my friends, i slowly began to learn how much i really wanted to mod my car, and that just began everything. i first went for audio, the head unit/in dash changer, two 12'' subs, amp, etc. then from my audio phase, i moved onto more of a performance thing, where i got my intake and also my custom ca back exhaust done (which i still LOVE on a daily basis... sounds so mean!). from there, i picked up my wheels and that brings us to my current phase, total suspension overhaul. i'm just now getting into autocrossing, so my main goal is to get a crazy suspension going so i can handle the track like nothing.
in the next car, i will definitely approach modding from a different stand point than i ever have before. as much as i do love to see what people like dave and bluelex have done to their cars, i'm not into the HRE's, huuuuuuuge big brake kits, and that kinda stuff. although i do appreciate the usefulness of all of those things, it's mainly for show (unless you have some kinda crazy boost project under the hood, then i can completely justify the big brakes). personally though, i want all performance. anything that will help the car perform better, thats what i want to do. if it happens to improve the car's appearance, that's a bonus. the point of all this you ask? we all grow with our modding styles. mine has grown into definite performance attitude getting my car ready to compete with the best of them on the autocross track. as for the future? who knows, but i do know i will always have a great track car if i end up getting a more 'civilized' family car as well.

VERY well put!
But I have since decided to get a whole nother vehicle next year sometime (upcoming Z06!)
As far as engine/performance mods... JWT Intake, BORLA dual-exhaust, & MPR Grounding Kit (I'm having some engine parts painted as you read this, preparing for a Car Show) all good for @ 35 rwhp! So needless to say, it's considerably stronger than stock. And of course suspension & brake upgrades as well.
I want to get a Z or G and I'm collecting infos' about them.
