Here's one to laff at
I went to a junk yard to find some parts. And I found a 1997 LS400 for sale. It runs and drives well. With the exception of the fact that it has some cosmetic problems. Problems being that there are no interior door panels. They are in the trunk. The other problem is that the car has a salvage title and it's priced at $7700, but they are willing to take $7000 for it. Claiming that I can have it inspected and a rebuilt title issued. However I don't think that it's worth it. Being that I can never again get that car fully insured. What do you guys think? Is $7000 a crock?

Well the reason why it can't get full coverage insurance is because it has be listed as totaled and salvaged. Even though the car is in great condition. The insurance company paid out on it because they original owner got a new car. It was a reacovered theft. The odometer is broken and no one knows that actual miles of the car. I told the guy if I got it that I would give him $1500 for it. He laffed. Right after that is when I purchased my 1990 LS for $3000 clean title and all. He was pissed! lol And he's still trying to get somebody to buy that car. It's not going to happen.
