I'm not knocking body kits. The one I want and may eventually buy is expensive. Then there's shipping from Japan, body work, painting. adds up to $5K.

Sounds about right although from Manaray's recent post, 20s on SCs seem a little problematic.

That body kit it awesome!!!

Yeah, your car does seem to get pretty low when you sat on the trunk... Good suggestion, 19's might be better choice, especially since it is my daily driver and I will have more than 2 adults in the car for atleast 50% of the time. Add this to the roads here suck, and 19's could be my best option... Especially since I just got the Ltuned S/S put on.

Do you think I might be able to cruise by this weekend and try your 19's on my ride and look at the setup on my ride?

Here's what he said in the other thread:

After doing 20's on my SC, I would recommend doing 19's. The problem with 20's is that if you lower the car like I did (a lot), then it will rub ABOVE the tire in the front fender due to the larger overal diameter (the SC has very shallow front fenders). That's where the real problem is as the main wiring harness is above the tire on the driver's side. Other than that, getting it to fit offset wise isn't too hard (especially when you can custom order them)...but you need to be very conservative unless you want to mod your fenders (8.5" +43 front and I'd say 10" +50 out back or 9.5" +45...this is for 20's. On 19's you can go more aggressive.) I was planning on modding my fenders all around (as I don't care about hacking up a 2nd hand used car) but I no longer own the car.

BTW, the wheels are iForged FLUX 2-piece brushed centers, high polished lip in that photo...

While there are advantages to do 20's in terms of adding extra ground clearance (which I REALLY needed with the JIC kit) and a lower appearance, 19's would make things a LOT easier.

I voted 18's because I have them and it already sucks to drive them. When I put on my stocks, it feels like heaven again because I can't feel any bump on the road anymore!

But maybe that's because I have a 96 ES and because my tires are cheap $73 Kumhos.

19 or 20s, it shouldn't matter as long as the overall diameter doesn't change. MAny 20s come in the same width and offset as the 19s. Unless you've got a Civic 4 dr where you start with 13" wheels/tires, then there's no way to even get 19s in there. The wheel alone is probably already taller than the stock 13" wheel/tire combined. Plus they don't make 19" with 4 lugs.

Tires are also alot cheaper for 19 inchers. But if gots to look good, 20 is the only way to go, unless it's a LX470, then go 26"....with spinners of course.
