Default Toyota F1

Wow, I have to say Toyota has shown they are a real player this year. It is a complete 180 from the years past. Toyota has shown they adopted to the rules change very well. Ferrari and BAR Honda both were #1 and #2 last year and are a complete disaster right now. Both teams are close but still haven't quite figured it out. Renault IMHO will win the drivers championship and the contructors championship. I know it is early to predict especially with the extended season this year, but Renault looks like Ferrari in the past. Nobody is even close to them right now. I predict it will take at least another 2-3 race weekends before teams catch them up. I'd say Toyota, Ferrari, and McLaren will fight for 2nd throughout the end of the seaons, and BAR/Honda will battle Williams for 5th, but probably end up 6th unless they get it together by Imola next race weekend. Going 4 race weekends with no points and no finishes period would be too much to overcome even in this long season.

the new boss is supposed to real good. Let's hope he can keep the team running strong to the end. And if they win and build the high end sport car....can I even afford it? probably not
