Pardon my ignorance. Isn't this car the Evo VIII?

I've been looking for information on the earlier Evo models but unfortunately, I have not been able to gather sufficient information on the earlier cars.

Does anyone have side by side picture comparisons/performance data/years produced between the various generations of Evos?

good find, good video, love the EVO, my second favorite car, and after the video,i kinda feel the same thing too, not much difference from the outside, but some of the difference that i know from the video are that the front and rear bumper are different, and as well as the tailights, other than that, look just like the EVO VIII

A few exterior changes, suspension, wheels,....but the big change is the new "mivec" motor.
Variable Valve head.. so who knows..??
just have to wait and see..

yah making it harder to tune. But MIVEC is not as advanced and complicated as VVT-i so we'll see.
