I disagree with the earlier comments about image. FORGET " Image ".........that is a bunch of nonsense....who cares about what others think? This is YOUR money, YOUR car, and YOUR needs. Who gives a s - - t about how many heads it turns or doesn't turn?
I am not trying to be a jerk, but your comments about image, too much power, and too flashy this are getting tiresome. If you were really into cars, you would embrace all aspects...not just practicality. I mean it is about variety. If everyone drove your ideal car, it wouldn't be very exciting would it?

If you are so anti-image. Why don't you just walk around in shorts and a no shoes or shirt (when warm of course)? I mean you have met the needs of protecting the jewels and not getting arrested....why would you need any more clothing? Well, it may not be for flash, but I doubt you are so self-confident that you could pull that off day in and day out. Guess you do have to worry about image.

Has anyone ever been banned for being too closed-minded and boring?

And obviously he cares what others think, otherwise I don't think he would post asking for advice. And if he is looking for image, that is his call. Nothing wrong with that.

If .
First of all, my views, like yours, are not alone. Second of all, when you spend good money for a car, if you want to spend time worrying about what others think, fine, especially if you're married and have to share it with your family. But a lot of people are worried more about pleasing the Jones' than they are themselves. Third, some others on CL have also posted about the excess of power in some recent models, especially Mercedes AMG's. Fourth, people are free to take or ignore any advice they want, including yours or mine. Fifth, if my comments make you THAT tired, perhaps you could use a good night's sleep in a warm bed instead of 700-HP nonsense in street cars.
Have a pleasant evening.
