thanks for ur help guys..i personally was looking at the durango or the tahoe..every time i mention ford everybody makes that face..dont buy ford dont buy ford, so thats off my list..another choice was the seqouia..but to be honest i may just end up w/ the mdx..yea, its a cramped 3rd row..and im sure were not going to be using it all the time, but its good to know i can..and if not i got drop the seats and use the back for cargo..and to be honest, i just don't see my wife feeling comfortable driving a big massive car, and then theres the parking issue..
The biggest third row in SUVs are in the current Expedition and Navigator and they are pretty roomy too alot bigger than the one in the LX and Land Cruiser but I still rather have a LX 470!

I really think this is the best answer for you. The MDX is a heluva lot of SUV for the money, and certainly seems to be a much better choice than the GX470 in that price range.
Definitely avoid the Durango (I know you've already crossed Ford products off the list). A friend had one once as a rental car in San Antonio, and I kid you not, I had to wonder if the thing had a suspension AT ALL. It was without a doubt the bumpiest, roughest, most ridiculously harsh ride I've ever felt.
