Well, I am curious about the used Porsche market and just wanted to verify the numbers in case anyone else is too. You know what happens when you assume ...

Just because I put smilies in a post does not mean I don't want to know the answer. Plus part of my job is to make sure info is accurate. I am sure Mike just typed too fast but that is why we watch out for each other.

The Boxter is nice - but if you end up with one - buy some mothballs and drain all the fluids from the car b/c the insurance will be prohibitively high. Not to mention maintenance even if you do get it insured at a reasonable price.

I don't know how old you are (you mentioned your parents) - but if you're young, like me, insurance comapnies hate you - especially if you have a Porsche.

Yeah, I guess it was a typo, I was typing out the book pretty much. Wish I could scan it instead,
Funny I got my new issue of Sports Car International with the new Boxster on the cover.

no, it is not at all. i'm not certain how the above comment were even conceived.

i definitely can appreciate that sometimes it doesn't matter what is expressed but how it's expressed.

the sentence " thanks for being the hero " contains no sarcasm at all- there's no roll-eye or thumbdown symbols. i know this would clerify the above question.

yup... the new boxster has been receiving good comments such as "it finally looks and drives like a porsche" which i agree. evident from the iconic frog-eye head lights.
