That car is grossly overweight and painfully slow. I almost got talked into buying one back in the day but when I test-drove it at the BMW dealership, I was so severely disappointed.
I was test-driving the 840ci by the way. But I heard the 850ci was faring no better. No wonder BMW pulled the plug on that one....

That is why Dinan has made a pair of twin turbos for the 8 series.
