Default Almost traded Lexi in today...

on a 1993/4 ( i cant remember which) GS300. has some peeling clearcoat, but nothing too bad, on the rear by the antenna. Asking $6,750 with a 3 month warranty. opinions? i need to go back and get the VIN # and run the carfax...but it is a nice car, green, w/ beige leather, in excellent condition inside...i wonder why its so cheap? mileage was ~ 110,000 IIRC.

are these good cars? what can i expect from them performance wise? i will be upgrading to one eventually, so these answers will not go wasted!

I'm no expert on the 1st Gen GS300 - but I can tell you that they're great cars. As far as performance, they have a 2JZ-GE engine in it... can't really ask for much more I'm not familiar with their suspension modifications however.

Good luck purchasing the right GS!

i prefer the lok fo the first gen, over the current gen, the rear end is better IMO, thats why im currently searching for a first gen, but i am open to all suggestions. i dont ever want to do anything big liek turbo or anything, but it will be nice to have a car that i can put ***** to the wall.

Army,

We have a dedicated first gen GS forum, might be good to surf through there for what folks have done to their 1gen GS's. Lexaristo also has a dedicated website (click his sig) with some first gen info.
