Also ran into this. The owner(?) of the Aston Martin dealership was there for some reason and walked out as my friend and i was admiring his car. I bet he as a little spooked when he walked out to see to people around his car on a quiet Sunday after noon.
This thing sounded amazing when it started up and started pulling away.
Yeah...those Bentley donuts have got to be one of the funniest pictures I've ever seen posted on CL.
Sure didn't do the car much good, though, if it was already unreliable to start with.
Originally posted by lexusk8 OK the curiosity is getting the better of me. How exactly does one do "donuts" on a car? What's the technique?
BTW I'm not in any way encouraging others to perform donuts on their rides
I've done them in snow before in a FWD Cavalier and on dry pavement with a FWD Sentra. Turn the steering wheel full lock either side, floor the gas and pull the handbrake up. Then just go WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
For RWD I still think you pull the handbrake up. But sometimes raw power and just make up for it.
I saw it on one of the Monster Grage episodes - the Blingin old school poop sucker rollin on 100 spoke dubs...LoL
The Bently he beat on blew a radiator hose....coolant everywhere....one of the best things to ever happen, a car worth a buttload of money laying down some phat contact patches....
