I know that it might be unfair to judge the new GS without seeing it in person, but by looking at this picture, I know that pretty much I won't be in line waiting for the new GS. Sorry Lexus, but this is
a disappointment . The styling is not distinguishable anymore.
I appreciate our 2nd gen. GS a lot more now.
The shot of that front grill makes me think of the opening of the blue whale.
not a good picture:

I love it I'll probably take 2. Those rear lights look real close, but I think its because of the Euro plate area.
Whats funny is that the majority of us Lexus owners on this forum dont like it, and like the 2nd gen more. But people that arent Lexus enthusiast and arent on this forum love the styling, and cant wait till it comes out. (check out some other boards you will see)I guess we are gonna have a lot of new faces on this board next year.

The two guys in the car must be pretty big because they make that GS look like the size of an IS. The wheels are also so small looking. I don't think I'm touching that car until some aftermarket support is there. It was the reverse with the 2nd gen. I bought mine in 98 when it came out because I liked the styling so much.

So far I am not feeling this car...like NEO said before me...this car needs some aftermarket support before I look into it.
Right now I am thinking C32/C55 or RS4 as replacements...

So far I'm still hugely disappointed by how the new GS looks no matter which picture I look at. Even the interior and feature set offer nothing to get me excited about when comparing to the competing models like the new RL and M.

Pole Position
To me the car on pictures look much much better than 2nd gen GS (stock). I haven't seen it in person but I think that Flint Mica is much better choice color than silver. These pictures say more than any of the press reales ones that have been retouched.

The 1st pic looks the best because the car is making a hard left and theres almost no wheel/ fender gap. Im gonna have to see it in person before I make final judgement but so far it doesnt look horrible. It doesnt look great either. The current gen GS is great looking imo so if this car is as average in person as it is in the pics it will certainly be a step down aesthetically from the MKII GS.
