Preview: Honda Legend
I still think that the 91-95 legends are timeless and are beautiful, but i think this new Legend is a worthy successor. The RLs between 96-2004 are crap in my opinion. You can't really bash on this new RL since ALL car mags that have tested the car out gave awesome reviews. Also, i think the car looks hot...especially the interior
Its alot nicer looking to me than the upcoming gs

Did anyone notice how that engine cover says "IMA"?
IMA= hybrid
I wonder if/when the US will get hybrid in the RL?

IMA = Integrated Motor Assist
I could justify purchasing the hideous and overpriced new RL if I could claim 40+mpg on the highway.
EDIT: Kinda like how people currently justify the Prius.

91 - 95 Legend the best looking Acura sedan ever Nah... 2001-2003 3.2 TL. Awesome looking in both the front and the back, and decent performance. (Yes, I know the trannys SUCK horribly)

They all desperately needed a drop though ... Acura kinda set them up like monster trucks for some reason.

I swear, if the new RL was a Lexus model people here would be jizzing over itand going on about how much of a bargain it is in its class.

Acura could have done a much better job stying it. The side and front are bland, the rear is just Bangle-ugly.
If the 06 GS300 costs $50k w/options and awd, Lexus will have a hard time selling them. Lexus should have built a 3.5L 300hp V6, and a 4.3L 350hp V8.
Is it me or does there seem to be a bit of pessimism after the initial euphoria over the new mid sized luxury sedans? People complaining that the RL is overpriced and bland styling, the new GS underpowered and no wow factor, the new M great looking but only from a second tier maker, I'm not sure what's wrong with the new A6. I'd venture to guess that all of these models will see a healthy increase in sales - it's only a year or two after the launch when they start to tank like the 5 series can one even start talking about a failure.
Acura is doing their usual low balling the sales forecast (1000/mo) to look good when then the real numbers come in (1500/mo).
