The BMW you know and love is what BMW is showing us here in the U.S. From what I understand, the 1 series has been in production for a while now in Europe.

Americans tend to think highly of BMWs......they should use that to their advantage and NOT export this car to us. It will bring down the value of the brand.

And besides......remember the 318ti? No one wanted one. How many people do you think will take a 1 series over other imports that cost the same?

 

Not all European cars are. I think Germany is left hand as well.

 

Your the first person to ever say anything good about the headlights on the new BMW's. Too me, the headlights are the single worst thing on the 5, 6, 7, X3, & this new 1 series. The headlights alone would prevent me from buying any of these cars.

BTW, this car sucks.

 

Also, a car like this will only be good for Lexus. Lexus won't stoop to this level because it cheapens a brand. Now we have BMW building a Scion fighter. What's next, an Econo-Porsche?
