in those pics stage3 posted, would you call those a 1 profile rim? maybe a 1/3?
personally, people can do whatever they want to cars. thats what makes this country so great. what also makes this country so great is the fact that i can freely say to everyone of them.

I saw that second car in person. The owner is from Sarasota, FL. Those are 27" rims, but get this. the tire is a custom made 22 from Toyo. Somehow toyo figured out a way for the bead of the tire to fit on the 27" wheel. But I think they were made in conjunction, because there is no way Lexani would somehow figure out a way to make the 22" wheel fit. oh and one more thing, majority of those cars have LIFT KITS installed. they use the same shock that they use for light truck lifts... crazy, but whatever makes you randy i guess...
Oh, just so you know, this car was on the back of a flat bed, and to get into its spot at the show, had to make a 12 point turn. I know, because i was telling him where to park it and watched him do it. But i have to admit... someone put a lot of money into this car and made it look rather nice. Just take a look at the roof and the paint job...

Actually nitto makes these exclusively for lexani's johnnson wheel...22" back with a 27" face..28" are around the corner , I wonder which car will be the first with them on.... I live in FL and see this garbage almost everyday...

not to reiterate, but people can do whatever they want to their rides. Just don't get mad at me when you see me laughin at ya. This stuff makes me glad I live up north.
The worst part IMO are that there are some potentially clean classic rides in this thread save for the ugly *** huge cheapo wheels. Oh, dear hip-hop culture, where have you gone???

If any sedan should recieve wheels over 20" in diameter, it should be the BMW 745's or the Chrysler 300C...that's it. I have love for all types of modifications that people do (hey, big wheels on sedans are nice too, but putting 24's and 26's/27's on a poor Impala or Cutlass is a bit too extreme for my tastes). Those cars in the pictures, except for the Camry and the Accord, were meant for lowriders and not lifting!... But like reggiek mentioned, I'll give credit when credit is due.
Now this is what I consider an excellent example of a sedan on 22" wheels that's actually somewhat clean...

Yeah, that certain 300C has hydraulics on it. The shop did a great job of putting the entire thing together on that car.
Kind of pisses me off because his installation is a lot cleaner and his kit is "better" than mine!...heheheh (our setups are from the same company).

Bro, Your set-up isn't bad at all..Your pumps and batteries are simply in a different position thats all.. I I may be wrong but I think they welded the rack to the frame of the 300C because it has a frame and your lexus has a unibody frame.. I'm not 100% sure but most big american cars have a frame..

That last 300C is pretty sick although I think it needs a 2" lift. Then it would be perfect. I never liked wheels
that sunk in to the wheel well. That thing is pretty much dragging on the ground. I'd like to drive mine.

Yup...the 300C just begs for dubs.
It's indeed the only car in all those junk-ridden pictures that looks about right.
