The Z is indeed a nice car in some ways.....but it has a cheap interior (in spite of the classic Z center-dash gauge look), and suspension settings at the factory that screw up tire wear and cause a lot of road noise....this is being addesssed in a recall.

Sorry to take it off topic, but mmarshall, where in the hell do you get all your knowledge? You know a lot about a lot. Do you just read car magazines and reviews all day long?? And back to your regularly scheduled program...

The guy's an idiot, the Z is pretty cool.

Not sure I understand what you are getting at, Jet.......yes I read a lot. Write some short auto comments for some auto weeklies. I post a lot during the middle of the day and after work. Test-drive a fair # of cars. Help people find their wheels and give advice. And yes, enjoy my IS300. And the Z comments?...the comments...the bad factory alignment is nothing new.....it is public knowledge and available from several sources, and yes, it IS a nice car........"cool"...as you refer to it.....I made that clear in my post.

For a guy your age, you're pretty knowledgeable in the car world yourself.

Thanks for the compliment. I was just curious as to how you know everything you do. I try to read up as much as possible, and help people choose cars too, but you're still light years ahead.

Aviation and automobiles have been most of my life...I'm a pilot, an FAA flight procedures specialist, a part-time auto consultant , and a FULL-time auto enthusiast.
Now...as you say...back to topic..........
