according to the lexus web-site, they claim that its not possible to install a factory nav unit into a non-nav car (or maybe they dont want to do it
) ... they really should talk to some of the people on this web-site before they make these statments

It's probably in the best interest for their customers. I know it took quite a long time for the folks I know who have done it to make it work right. I suspect it would take even a well trained master mech at least a couple of days to get it done. I for one wouldn't want to pay three days of lexus master tech labor! Probably could buy a new Lexus for that much $$, lol
