When the new SC430 debuted - the first thing I thought was that Lexus was giving that Minority Report car a shot. The SC has grown on me since then, however, and who can complain with all the refinements it brings to the 2-seater roadster/tourer vehicle class. It's a car unlike any other available - kinda like that pic of the new GT-R ...
I still prefer the last generation(s).

The next gen GT-R will use the new FM platform from the M35/45.

Yes, it will be a world-wide model and possibly Infiniti's flagship, not badged a Nissan. Ghosen wants to take Infiniti to Europe.
As for powertrain, I am hearing TT 3.5 VQ.

ya, what sick said...Ghosen saved nissan from falling off in japan, now the co is getting a good taste of green($$), the traditional national pride of keeping the best(ie, alll the previous super model GTRs) in the land of rising sun can be left aside for a while and focusing on making the dough($$$)..
nice move
..what a good french man

The rear of that car just screams DB9, I think it maybe a photoshopped press pic from the DB9.

Skyline?
I don't think it's too bad. The front fenders are too pronounced like the Mazda RX8. The front grill is too open like the new Audi's. Surely this is a concept or pre-production model and smoother lines will be integrated.

Genius. God knows America loves the Q, and I'm sure it'll enjoy similar success in Europa.

You sure about that.....?????
I've heard from numerous sources that it's going to be from the G35 platform....The G35 in japan is currently called a Skyline....
everyone is just waiting on a GTR version.
Not going to be 3.5 either........3.3TT with electronically assisted turbos, and an electro magnetic clutch.
Thats the info that i got from a nissan source from Japan, that attended their 04 opening press confrence.
can't wait though!!
I'll be first on the list....
by the way where did u find that pic?
take care,
Paul
