No, there really won't be any special luxury touches. The center console with auto A/C will be the exact same thing as found in the '05 WRX. Sure, seats and trim will be different but I think the 9-2 is just "super-poseur."

You may want to take a look at the new 2005 Outback XT turbo with the flat-6.....250 HP/ 250 lb-ft torque. Just getting into showrooms now. I looked at one Saturday. if you want a little more interior plush and can live with a little less power, the L.L. Bean has the non-turbo flat-6 with the same HP rating...250 but 219 ft.-lb torque at a higher RPM. Trust me....the new L.L. Bean has a NICE interior with real low-gloss wood instead of that polished wood-plastic of last year.......it will knock your socks off.

i heard they are nice. But whatever i get next will not be a replacement car. I am keeping the RX and the SC and wouldn't mind adding a roomy AWD sedan and keep the price tag something under 10grand.

You're absolutely right. I'm going to drive the Legacy GT in the next few days. If I can get over my badge loyalty and snobbery the GT might be next ride. Lots of car for the money.

There is also a Forester Turbo that is smaller and lighter than the Legacy GT, but its interior isn't as nice and it sits higher off the ground, so it would be more top-heavy while cornering. The non-Outback Legacy sits lower and won't go through as deep a snowstorm, but will handle better.
