I dont think the engine has been tested enough to kNOw how much its internal can hold up. But I would most definitely upgrade the Tranny..... its a Nissan.... It will Snap soon nuff!!! I predict it breaks approx @ 400rwhp.
Surprisingly, the guy says that there isn't that much turbo lag at all. I mean he said there is some, but it isn't as much as some other turboed cars he's driven.

The G35 engine actually was tested by greddy and in its stock form, it can handle up to 400-450rwhp without any internal modifications. Anything above the specified hp will blow the engine. If you want to boost a g35 in the 500's or more, some small internal mods need to be done

How about the tranny? How much RWHP can the stock 6-speed handle?

Since you dont need any engine mods for the 400-450hp, then i assume greddy means that it includes the tranny also. You would probably have to update to the nismo clutch and flywheel if you exceed 450wrhp.

He dynoed 232 wrhp and 216 torque before the install and now he has 345rwhp and 375 torque (WOW!). Heres the website with all his pics. I'm just so much in awe. I wished i had the money to turbo my G too

After tuning they can do even 420 at the wheels. We have a guy here with one.
