Lexus Division light trucks had a best-ever April with 11,982 units, up 8.5 percent. The RX 330 luxury SUV enjoyed best-ever sales of 8,227 units, an increase of 7.3 percent. The GX 470 mid-size luxury SUV sold its best-ever April with 2,930 units, up 9.6 percent, while the LX 470 full-size luxury SUV posted an increase of 17.0 percent.

Lexus passenger cars posted strong sales of 11,573, an increase of 13.1 percent. The ES 330 luxury sedan led sales with 6,460 units, an increase of 21.9 percent. The LS 430 flagship luxury sedan posted sales of 2,706 units, up 63.8 percent, while sales of the SC 430 hardtop convertible increased 4.5 percent.

Yoswa, that's 136 more vehicles than BMW!



PS - IS needs an overhaul? How about the GS? Those numbers are just embarassing - I still don't know why we are waiting till next year for the new GS.

US Lexus sales have been stronger than BMW's for over 2yrs?

I think some people want the new GS for resale value. Others might be hoping Lexus is lying about the engine options. Logically Lexus cant reveal hp #'s for the V8, since those would be similar to the V8 IS, which is topsecret...
