Hey everyone,

As you can see I'm new to this board and I will upfront admit I know nothing about Lexus and this is why I am here to ask this question.

I know someone who owns a 99 or 2000 Lexus and he insists it is a two-door model but is not the SC300 or 400. Anyone know if this is possible or if Lexus has done any Limited Edition vehicles or does any sort of special ordering as far as body styles go. He also mentioned it had some sort of LT or sport package. Please please dont laugh me out of the forum, because like I said I know nothing about Lexus, so I decided to come to a place where people might know the answer to this question.

I asked him if he wouldn't mind giving me the VIN# of the vehicle so I could look it up. SO I guess we'll see. But I appreciate you all for reading this in advance and for any advice/answers you can give me.

I don't know of a 2 door Lexus from 99 or 2000 that isn't an SC300 or SC400. He's probably applied some Lexus badges to an Acura (inside joke).

Back to the topic at hand, the only 2 door model that Lexus has released is the SC series. The only solution I can come up with is that he rebadged his SC300 to a Soarer (which is what the SC is called in Japan), and is trying to pull a fast one on you. Or he might have taken a different car and put a Lexus badge on it

Either way, once you get the VIN # you'll know for sure.

This guy is fibbing. If he is referring to a 1999 or 2000 model it could only be an SC300/400, the SC series is the only coupe Lexus produces. Perhaps he's referring to an SC430 in that case it would need to a 2002. If not, I'd like to see this special "one off" Lexus coupe he has. Hope this helps.

Well, I dont think he would pull a fast one over me, he is a car collector and actually its his moms car although he was with her when she bought it. I will have to get the VIN#. When I do find out, if y'all are interested I'll let you know what I find.

The only 2-door offered by Lexus US is SC.
