A good body shop can blend/match any color.

A bad body shop can’t blend or match any color.

Perhaps.....but some shades of silver and a very light blue/silver can be VERY difficult. In fact, ALL light silvery-metallics are difficult.

I also agree with previous commenters who mentioned that that beautiful Mazda Candy-Apple-Red will probably not be very easy to match correctly, either.

No, a good body shop can blend/match any paint. Its difficult sure but skill makes difficult things possible. My shop blended my silver LS perfectly.

Paint can be a pain but if you have a shop that is skilled they can discern the flake direction for metallics and spray pattern used at the factory and match it. If they know how to do that they will also be good at feathering the color and should do a very nice sanding job as well, you will probably need to polish it after you get the car back.

When they repaired my LS460L I was amazed. They replaced and repainted the whole trunk lid and blended it into the rear quarter panels, you would absolutely never know it was ever painted.
