It's a big, ugly beast that's for sure. I gotta admit that 3.5 twin turbo is really appealing. Too bad it's stuck in this and that other ugmo the QX80.

Put that 3.5TT in the Z and I'd consider it. That thing would be a rocket!

 

Which is worse? Armada or LX 600?

Take the chin spoiler off the LX600 and it's a supermodel compared to the Nismo.

 

Agreed, LX without the bodykit is much better looking.

This Armada thing is $70k according to the article? That seems cheap.

 

It's no wonder Nissan is still struggling. People have been screaming for an Xterra replacement for years, and a sporty entry level car like the Sentra SER or 200/240SX.... And then they killed the maxima, all the NVs....

 

It is in the Z in 3.0 form, same engine architecture

 

That extra half liter of displacement would make the Z a little cooler. I believe it makes 516 lb ft totally stock in the QX80 which impressed me but it's a shame this engine is stuck in two fatzo SUV's.

 

I believe if they put the IDx concept into production years ago Nissan would be in a much better position today. At this point they’re putting lipstick on pigs (old pigs at that) and just trying to stay afloat.

 

I think the Armada looks better, minus the red trim. Lol
