Man, he smoked that C8 LoL 🤣🤣 It wasn't even close! You can actually hear the sound of the V8's disappearing into the distance. Unless you are just going for visceral feel and sound, this just makes most non tuned sports cars irrelevant IMO. Can't wait till next year

 

I believe that was a C6. You see at the end how the turbo fox mustang spooled up on the 2nd to last run I believe.

 

Yeah, I saw that. That car was built for the dragstrip. I'm betting it's an absolute horrible daily. But yeah, that car was easily a 9 second quarter mile car

 

Unless I missed something in the video, why is track mode slower?

 

I think track mode stiffens the suspension, it's not used for drag racing. For more performance you would use Ludicrous mode

 

A 10 second car for 55 large. Who'da thunk it? Our's is coming soon; I will miss our Mid Range. It has taught me a lot.

 

This is all the car I will ever need. It will most likely be the last car I buy for myself for many years to come

Haha I'm sure it's going to eventually come out, in fact I wouldn't be surprised if one of the two new reveals will be the Roadster. That said, I'm long over my mid-life crisis, and second, this particular car I would probably need to mortgage my home to afford. In other words, it's not in the budget

 

 

Finally saw one, actually two, in person today. both were red. One with white interior, and one with black. They're in the test drive lot, so I will have to go back when they're open.

 

Still waiting on a demo drive. Last text I got from Tesla was July

 

Got an update this morning; car will be ready any day now. Someone probably cancelled, or whatever. Was due mid July to mid Aug.
