I picked the Mustang 5.0 over the LC when i got my Mach 1 last year.
The Lexus ordering process was a big reason. Mach 1 was custom ordered and also has the amazing Tremec transmission.

We knew the day was coming - this is for Europe.

Lexus line-up goes electrified only as LC and RC F retired

On LC Facebook group, many people have no longer been able to order LC in other parts of the world.

I think US will get 1 more Model Year if we are lucky but I would not be surprised if 2024 is the end sadly.

The point is that they are dropping it due to regulations not due to sales.

Porsche dropped the Cayman and Boxster from Europe due to some security regulation.

Yea just read about that. Some cybersecurity issue that doesn't comply with EU regs.

The two go hand in hand. It’s not worth finagling the regulations for the low sales.

We have some more life with these models here in the US

Hopefully that means US will get more allocations for the Porsches.

I assume the RC and LC will live through the rest of their planned generation life cycle and then be discontinued in the US. Same for the LS. Only the ES and maybe IS will live on.

I think Lexus will pull a Lexus and keep the LC around for a lonnnnnnng time, just like the GX and old LX.

Cars get more and more terrible each year, yet there is this golden goose Lexus, of all brands, that keeps getting more and more desirable.
