Default RX350 vs TX350 Pricing

Does anyone find it weird how close in price these are? If you want to make it "even" and add the 14" screen, they are even closer in price as the bigger screen is standard on the TX. IMO, it seems the TX is the one that is priced correctly for the amount of luxury and features. The RX feels overpriced by comparison, but it has to slot in between the NX and TX, so I get why they did this way.

Maybe Lexus should have just started the TX at the Premium trim to give each model more breathing room. I guess in reality, you likely won't find many base TX anyways

After all the options, I bet we'll see a larger price difference. I think the TX having a 3rd row will appeal to more people.

There's a ton of base TX out there. My local dealer has dozens of them sitting on the lot. You can walk in and drive out in a base TX without issue -- pick your color. But if you want a higher trim then there's a waiting list.

Actually no, if you think about it the TX and RX really serve different buyers at a similar price point, TX if you need 3 rows RX if you don't

My cousin has an order for a TX. She currently drives a RXL. Told her about the 500h but she said the 350 will be just fine. Plus I’m not sure she’s a fan of hybrid vehicles. Long term wise I will take her 3.5 V6 over the turbo 4 cylinder that comes in the TX 350.
