Sucks to hear something didn't go correctly. I try and let jobs like that sit overnight at least to allow everything to set but dealers usually don't have time for that

They let it sit most of the day and drove it around for 40 miles or so apparently...

What do you think it could be? I can’t imagine the valve covers leaking enough to show up on the floor like that.

They absolutely should be the same tire. I have a hate on for Michelin but cheaping out is super lame

Do you have your under shield attached I assume? If it was my car I would at least try and look carefully from above and see if the oil is originating from the too somewhere you can see.

Then check below, if you have a bore scope type inspection camera it should allow you to look around without removing the under tray etc

Ive had my old GX at the Lexus dealer and twice they didn’t put the drain plug in correctly and it leaked oil like that. Hope it is something simple like that.

Yep, under shield is attached. I can’t see anything from the top I looked…no boroscope or anything like that. The oil is dripping out of both ends of the under cladding that runs underneath the rear of the engine and transmission. Those are the front wheels in the left of the pic, this is looking under from the drivers side

I texted the dealer and my service guy responded on Sunday which was nice. Told me to bring it by tomorrow so I will.

not sure what phone you have but either way, sometimes just a small crop to an image can bring the size down substantially.

Maybe it is the BMW lol

I will say I complain about how slow the dealer is, but they have taken care of me.

Driving it back from NJ, I still really love the car and honestly I have no interest in paying more money for another one vs this one…just can’t get excited about it…

I’m sure they will have it for a week lol

That's exactly what's going on. 🧐

They'll be a little embarrassed for sure.

Ive always had the opposite happen, whenever I consider a new car to replace it the Jeep always magically stops acting up lol!

Given the context, the guy he said it to laughed. It wasn’t a serious comment and it was understood as intended. It was also a Saab that belonged to the caller’s customer who did buy a set of wheels and tires.
