Kia needed to redeem itself after the (IMO) awkward-looking re-design of the latest Sportage, which also grew some 7 inches, which in some ways made it larger than the Sorento itself.

I think they have done so with the exterior with this new Sorento redesign (it is much better than the new Sportage), although inside, it is the same (now-copycat) layout for the new dash-wide super-screens that we are seeing on a number of other new vehicles....including from GM and on my brother's new 2024 Seltos.

BTW, bit, edit the thread-title....should be "Sorento".

Good luck getting this new Sorento (or any current Kia product) at list...it's not impossible, but can be difficult. An old friend, colleague of mine, and his wife just picked up a new 2024 Telluride, and had to pay over list (and his wife is a generally good bargainer). I was not there with them when they bought it. He sent me a picture of it (below)...but it doesn't show very much, so I decided not to do a separate thread on it. He's not even sure which trim-version it is (there are ten different trim-levels for 2024)....and I couldn't tell from the website and the wheel pattern.

My brother and I were able to get a new Seltos SX at MSRP a couple of months ago...but that was at a different dealership, We were longtime-repeat customers, and I made it clear that I would consider any mark-up an insult.....the sales-manager agreed. But we were not trying to bargain on a Telluride, which is in very high demand.

except this is a refresh so i don't think the sorento is any bigger.

this is aligned with other models including ev6, ev9, seltos as you mentioned... so not copycat, just their style.

yes boss, except i can't edit thread title.
