My 2023 with 19" wheels rides really well, not bouncy, but not too stiff either. It's extremely quiet on good roads, but some road noise if the roads are bad. Unlike my Polestar which has almost no feedback to the steering wheel from the road, the Y has some feedback, you can feel some of the road imperfections come through to the steering wheel.

At 30 mph or 80 mph, it's drivetrain is smooth as silk, and it feels well balanced. My coworker who owns two 911's took it out for a spin the other day and told me it's one of the most balanced vehicles he's driven

I would call it the perfect starter EV. It's comfortable and spacious, and extremely efficient. Because it has an EV drivetrain, it's extremely smooth. And it has decent power which won't get you in trouble. It's also inexpensive. I was sad when I heard Chevy cancelled the Bolt, but now that they "uncanceled" it, I feel relieved.
Agreed. IMHO, when it was in production, this was the best BEV on the market for the money.....especially compared to the (in several ways) disappointing Mach-E Mustang at almost twice the price. The Bolt EUV was well-assembled, had good fit/finish, a sensibly-designed dash/controls, a sewing-machine-refined electric drivetrain, was comfortable to drive and ride in for its size, a reasonable cruising-range for a lower-priced EV, and, best of all, was affordable for many people. GM was nuts to cancel it.....they are bringing back the regular (smaller) Bolt, but apparantly not the EUV.
