Why was an innocent person under a car with a saw? Do you not ID before shooting lol? Only idiots shoot without IDing first....

Plus that's the whole point of the law. Don't shoot unless it's valid or you will have problems, plus it's funny how you immediately went to lethal force. I was thinking more along the lines of beating the hell out of them

What you say is correct, but my point is that there are a lot of people who shoot first and investigate or ask questions later. Plus, we don't want to get the thread too deep into politics.

You wouldn't have to shoot them. A small twist on the handle of the jack would do the trick.

Back on topic, I'll likely "prevent cat theft" on my M3 by installing an aftermarket midpipe without secondary cats (which are not metered and therefore not needed to pass emissions testing). The primaries are tucked up high and tight against the engine block and a PITA to get to even if the car is on a lift.

We can't do this in CA because smog-check centers do a visual inspection with a mirror. Its odd, but they don't even do a tailpipe emission test anymore.
