I can't figure out what I'm seeing in that first pic showing the new "Tesla" writing on the back. Nothing about the shape of that resembles a Y to my eye.

I'm not sure how you were able to figure out anything about it by that close-up shot, but there is another pic I posted earlier from another article that shows more of the body, and it's shaped similar to the Y

I'm not seeing that article in this thread; would you mind letting me know where it is? I'd like to see other potentially leaked photos

I just can't fathom an adult who takes their time to make something like this. It always sparks so many questions. Does their spouse get involved and help ("Hey honey, I'm gonna spend 6 hours on this cardboard CT, can you come up with a funny thing for the license plate") ? Do they have friends over to help them? "Hey guys, meet in my mom's basement at 6pm so we can work on our cardboard CT."
I truly don't get it on any level.

Neither do I. The first thing I would say to this person (or persons) is you must have a lot of time on your hands, and "do you live in your mother's basement", and lastly, get a life

Compare what Elon makes to what his critics make.

Drastically lower production cost, far lower environmental footprint. Energy density and charging speeds will improve incrementally not dramatically, it isn't a breakthrough in chemistry it's a manufacturing breakthrough.
