Rumour is first release will be dual motor with 350 mile range very disappointing. Won't be so bad if the battery pack is around 120 kwh but still not great.

The promised ranges almost never happen, the range will increase over several revisions. If it does deliver 350 miles, that's awesome! That means one 10 minute charging stop between SF and LA

If it comes with say 170 kwh battery it will easily get over 400 miles and have good towing range Tesla is good at towing efficiency see Semi.

I actually see a lot of Model Y's towing trailers these days. I'm sure they lose range, but lots of people are doing it so it must not be an issue

Cyber Trucks should not exist until they can do 1,000 range.

See, I'm secretly a fan but I'm trying to think of every reason why it shouldn't exist just for fun and satire. Haha

i read the semi has an *850*kwh battery, hardly relevant.

didn't say it was an 'issue' it just means more recharging stops.

It is perfectly relevant because Tesla Semi gets significantly better efficiency compared to other EV semi trucks.

I do hope that as more people use EVs to tow pull through chargers become more prevalent. I don't tow (or plan to) but having to navigate someone who has their trailer in the lane because they didn't/couldn't unhitch before charging is a bit of a pain

IMO range is not as crucial for this class. I personally wouldn't want to drive a truck SF to LA or similar distances.

These are the two person camping trailers. I'll take a picture next time I see one. It's apparently very popular in Europe as well
