Edmunds just released their own comparison between the Telluride and CX-90 that came to the same conclusion as the MT article.

Dollar for dollar what's your pick?
What would you bring home with hard earned money and no regrets.

Taking in all things to account, such as value, styling, optioned or basic, brand image, availability, resale value, etc, etc, the top pick.
We'll have to let the buyers answer that with their wallet lol. As usual, Mazda sales will be nowhere near the Korean twins. But as far as "premium aspirations" go, I wonder if this will be enough. It took Hyundai, now the third largest car company in the world, three generations of vehicles from the Hyundai Genesis sedan before they could create the current crop of Genesis models. Mazda, with a fraction of the resources and foolishly resisting EV's like their Japanese brethren, has a much bigger hill to climb.

Probably either the Pilot or the Telluride.

Wow... Korean products have dominated in many different areas. I wouldn't mind getting a vehicle with Palisade's front and Telluride's butt.

Poor Nissan Pathfinder. It typically never even gets a mention in these kind of comparison tests.

I hadn't thought about it but the Pathfinder is not included in most of these comparison tests. Wasn't it updated recently in the last year or so? Nissan sells a lot of them. 27K in Q1 '23 which is close to the Palisade and Telluride numbers at least for Q1.

I Think the Telluride looks really good, better than the Mazda so that's near or at the top of my pick so far but no commitment on my pick yet. lol
Soooooo, what's your pick or are you chicken?

Comparison is OK but Mazda CX-90 is not on the market because of the cargo space. Three row seeting is additional bonus to the packaging. Different strokes for different folk that is.
Oh btw this is a paid ad for Kia, it's beyond obvious.

The list goes on too. It's hard to find a ranking of this segment where the Kia isn't at or right near the top.

With all due respect, get your mind out of the 1990s. Hyundai and Kia make respectable vehicles today.....and have done so since the early 2000s. They sometimes win comparisons on their own merits.

The Telluride is a complete home run, I'm surprised the others haven't been able to fully respond yet.

Having driven everything on that list but the Subaru which has no appeal to me and the new Pilot which I have sat in within the last month I have to agree with all their thoughts.

The CX-90 is a great emthusiast vehicle but for the mission of a 3 row SUV its not a great option.

For us it will be Palisade/Telluride (we go back and forth on each, I prefer the exterior of the Palisade and the interior of the Telluride), unless we decide to splurge on an Aviator or a GLS.
