I think they look better in person than in the pictures. Definitely a big presence in person. But I will say, at Performance BMW in St Catharines ON, there are two black gas models sitting there. At least three months now. They haven’t moved.
I agree, they do look better in person and look better in dark colors because in white you get a lot of black accents that make the front look absolutely terrible. In black it isn’t bad but it’s not something I would get. It’s too garish for me, especially the interior.
True. But at this point they have 13 BEV models while Lexus has 2. Despite the promises Lexus will be all-BEV brand (one day) I can bet my house that all European premium badges will have BEV option for all of their models before Lexus does.
the car exterior is about as interesting as a cinder block with a shock factor (for the front end)
LOL

eh, not entirely... the popular suv's (x3, x5, x7) are pretty great imo. i also think the 4 series gran coupe (a stupid designation because it's a 4 door) looks GREAT:

Plus you have the utility of the hatchback when needed.
agreed. i find it to be a really appealing 'mostly do it all' and great looking vehicle.
I like the looks of the Audi A5 Sportback too. It's funny you don't see more of the BMW or Audi hatchbacks but everything is CUV's and SUV's these days.

I agree although that picture doesn't make it look good. A guy I know has a RS5 and it is a really good looking car.

Is this your first time saying something possible about bmw? I actually think the latest touch on X5 and X7 is very bad. The light on X5 is not bad but the front bumpers on both these vehicles are terrible. More so on M/M Sports version. I may be biased but I can not find a replacement for my pre LCI X5 as of now.

think you meant 'positive' but i have very positive things to say about bmw OVERALL, having loved many models over the years. but yeah, i think the new 7 and 5 direction are pretty awful and obviously the 'beaver front' on the newest 3/4/i4 ain't great either, but at least i like the body shapes there.
the x3/x5 were VERY dull looking to me in early iterations but the last gen i thought was decent looking although i couldn't believe how little 2nd and 3rd row room there is in them.

yes the fronts aren't great to me either, but again, i'm good with the side/rear designs and the front and proportions aren't foul like the 7
bmw knows their market but i get tired of them usually using some smug 'starting to gray' guy in so much of their ads.

I may be biased too but I feel the same way with my pre-LCI X7. I keep seeing the LCI X7 more and more and I just don’t like it as much and there hasn’t been a compelling reason for me to upgrade.
I also haven’t found anything else out there that fits my needs better although being an ex GX owner I’m really interested in the new GX but I don’t think it will fit my needs currently.
