So I just moved to Calgary, does anyone know a good spot preferably in the NW to get a nice hand wash done?

Also will eventually want to get some nice inside/outside detailing and will then look for a spot to do that.

Let me know your experiences and preferred spots.

Welcome to Calgary ! Unfortunately I dont know any good places in the NW ( even though i live in that area) , I usually wash/detail outside my garage. Which area are you in?

 

At a friends for now, but bought a condo in country hills. Downside of a condo is not much space to detail.... Might need to take a bit of a drive to get it done. Come summer I'll be hijacking my sisters place in airdrie as she takes possession of her new house.

I much prefer to do it myself, but sometimes being pressed for time and dashing out to a date a quick good wash by a few guys for 20$ can be worth it.

Winter is a whole new ball game!

 

I usually go to Centex on Centre St and 24th Ave NW. They're open 24hrs so you can pretty much take your time late night when no one's around.

 

Just a heads up, it's against the law to wash your car at home or at someone's driveway in Calgary.

Well then, yay laws I'm not used to! Now that I've been driving around a bit I've seen places to wash you car and I think I know the spot goldfish8 was talking about. May have driver past it.

I guess living here makes detailing harder.... What do you guys do? I guess if you wash get home quick you can still wax, etc.
