New Canadian Eh,
Hey guys & gals,
2001 black on beige e-shift , high kilometers
Yes, its e-shift. I didn't want another standard transmission. Owning one at a time is good enough. Plus my fiance isnt the best at standard so its perfect.
Started off in the nissan scene ( s13 ), then ended up with a mx-5.
The mx-5 is currently heavily modified & up to around 300hp ( dyno soon )
Ended up going a little to heavy into this within the last year ( bigger/stronger s/c, i/c , o/c , brakes , clutch , EMS, etc.
How I aquired my new favorite vehicle. *that I can afford*
Friend & I made a trade for our 91' s13 w/ lots of goodies for a 2001 Lexus is300 about a year in a half ago.
The s13 had an original 113,000km on the chassis and around 60,000 on the SR. Lexus Had around 250,000.
My friend fell in love with the car and had more money for leisure at the time so he ended up with the vehicle....... ***
Fast foward to present day, after 3 convictions. My friend was no longer able to afford the vehicle. So It sat for a few months until I made the effort to buy it out to help him get out of debt. After a few weeks of thought he agree'd and ended up selling it to me for a price I could not refuse.
Went down to the MTO and got the permit plates & switched the registration over yesterday. Called up the insurance company & switched the policy, was valid as of midknight.
Woke up this morning, put on the plates, made sure the air pressure was fine & went to get some Oil/Filter & Air Filter. Did the changes, Then went towards costco to take advantage of the deals of bridgestone tires thats going on right now.
Ordered some 195/50/15 Potenza re-11's for the MX-5.
Also ordered some 215/45/17 Potenza re760 sports for the Is300.
The car currently has 265,000km on it and runs perfectly with no odd sounds or feelings. Its in great condition body/interior wise w/ 2x overall specs of rust on the car. Hopefully it has many more years to come.
Thanks for reading guys!
