How good is a good deal for 2011 RX350 cash purchase?
I am looking to pick up a 2011 RX350 ultra premium. As Lexus Canada is now offering $4000 cash incentive, dealers are acting like they will not be making money at all and closing up the room for negotiation on price. As far as I know , dealer's profit is not effected by the incentive discount because they get rebates from manufacture. I am not buying the crap that any dealer out there telling me there is no room to move on pricing. My cuurent vehicle is a BMW and I was able to knock another 4k down the asking price after taking the 5k factory rebate.
Now I wonder how you guys in Canada can get a good deal and what is a good deal really like. Your inputs are much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Firstly, equipping yourself with information such as the dealer invoice price and the latest incentives and rebates available is key. With this information, the dealer can't push you around as much since you have an idea of what their bottom line is. I'm sure there are other items such as hold back etc that adds to the dealer's profit but as least you're not walking in there with just the MSRP!
A source that I like to use is www.carsaver.ca as they provide you with free invoice price reports that you can print out and bring to the dealership with you so they can't BS you.
