anyone interested in autoX with the local PCA club?

I went to 2 of PCA's this year with my MR2, but my friend blew my engine... my other cars ain't autox friendly...

 

Would love to do this, but really not worth it in a heavy, slow, automatic LOL

 

i wanna try autocrossing but need to get a helmet and better sway bars.

 

You can use loaner helmets.

Or you can buy a new HJC CL-16 helmet, and tinted visor. All said and done $150ish from Modern Motorcycling by Commercial and 12th in Vancouver It's both DOT and Snell approved. Got mine a few months ago and when it came, mine's the Snell 2010 (they are certified at 5 year intervals). At first there's 2 pinch points inside, then I brought it back to them, they made it fit.

Sway bars? My MR2 don't have them in the back.

 

^good to know. i've been pretty lazy on getting a helmet. the shop on commercial is pretty close to me, i'll make a stop there sometime.
