well its a combination of everything, including luck and foresight

few days ago i had to go up a snowy hill with a stop light

a car at the stop light already waiting to turn right
no where for me to stop on the slope except on the slanted part so i had to stop at the bottom of the hill and wait for the car up there to turn right
so i wouldnt have to stop in the middle of the hill

momentum is your best friend

I just came down Royal Oak. Sheet ice, pure sheet ice. I don't think I've ever gone down that hill so slowly.

I just came back all the way from Grouse Mountain to Richmond, good thing I got my snowtire on, no issue going up or down hill with IS350. Just need to easy on the throttle.

I am officially having a snow day. I can't get my car out of my driveway (I'm so embarassed). The Lex is currently kinda sideways, *** backwards into some plants that we have along one side of the driveway & half in the garage. So: I can't close the garage & if I try to slide back to a straight line (so I could get back inside) I go further into the plants. I'm basically waiting for my uncle to come by and give my car a shove while I gas it so I can put it back inside.

How's everyone else doing today?
